Neutrophil percentage is the differential share of neutrophils among white cells — companion to the absolute neutrophil count.

Pregnancy often shows neutrophilic leukocytosis; percentage and absolute count should be read together with total WBC.

How to read it

Prefer absolute counts for clinical decisions when both are printed. Percentage alone can mislead if total WBC is very high or low.
